Mawson Lakes

Built around the technology precinct and waterway corridor of northern Adelaide, Mawson Lakes is a suburb of contemporary architecture, open-plan family homes, and wide, light-filled windows. Decor by Nee helps Mawson Lakes homeowners make the most of their modern homes by delivering window furnishings designed for today’s new-build designs, energy-efficient, stylish, and perfectly measured for South Australia’s sun-drenched conditions.

Window furnishings for Mawson Lakes homes

Modern construction in Mawson Lakes typically features large double-glazed windows, sliding stacker doors, and alfresco zones that blur the indoor-outdoor boundary. Honeycomb blinds are exceptionally popular here for their thermal performance, trapping air in cellular pockets to reduce heat transfer in summer and retain warmth in winter. For the alfresco, a quality Ziptrak outdoor blind extends the entertaining area comfortably through every season while giving a neat, architectural finish.
